This year’s JUMP Create-a-Thon models today’s innovation ecosystem with a goal toward creating and maintaining a long term effective solution that tackles real world problems facing teens in 2019. We will begin with a three day gathering in November that encourages our teens to highlight an issue and inspires our teens to accept responsibility and take action to solve it. 

From our end, in addition to educating and inspiring the teens to invest themselves, we intend to motivate them with our own form of investment. The gathering will represent the first investment period, where teams will have the opportunity to convince us to invest in their project – three teams will be chosen for investment by the end of the gathering. Three other investment periods will follow for whichever teams are most successful based on criteria we provide at the outset.

We hope this incubator model allows for significant early strides and sizable long term growth.
